How did we ever figure that out. You can ask any person from my generation in the United States how to fix an original Nintendo game that wouldn’t work and they would tell you to blow in the game. Everyone would say this. And this method did work. But, how did we ALL learn this? It wasn’t in the manual. There was no internet or cell phones. It’s not like we learned it in school. I am pretty sure it wasn’t in the Nintendo Magazine (which I subscribed to).
How did we all learn that one fact? I don’t think every person in my generation could tell you who was President in 1990, but they can all tell you how to fix a video game. Was word of mouth really powerful enough to spread the word about Nintendo games throughout the country?
