Sports Hate
In his weekly column, The Sports Guy talks about how there are always players you love to hate. I thought I’d make a list of a few of my players I love to hate.
- Tim Tebow (Florida QB). Love the way he plays, hate the hype and the holier than thou attitude.
- Chase Daniels (Missouri QB). He was always a little too cocky and he annoyingly backed it up against the Huskers.
- Tony Romo (Cowboys QB) - I just think he sucks, but he keeps getting love. Nothing is more enjoyable than seeing the Cowboys choke in a big game with Romo.
- John Starks (Knicks PG) - He always annoyed me when he would play against my childhood hero, Muggsy Bogues.
- Brad Lidge (Astros Closer) - That damn slider was always so effective against the Cardinals, except the one time it wasn’t and Pujols hit the train in Houston.
- John David Booty (USC QB) - The three names pissed me off because announcers always used all three.
As for teams, I hate the Missouri Tigers and Colorado Buffaloes in college football, the St. Louis Rams in pro football (you try having to watch Rams games every week from 2000-2008, you’d hate them too), the Knicks in basketball, the Yankees and Braves in baseball, and Lazio in Serie A soccer.
